Zero Fox is more than a restaurant, cafe, and bar to us. It’s a piece of home.
We’re a family-owned and operated neighborhood establishment founded by a group of siblings who were born and raised right here on York Blvd. Our roots in this community run deep. Our kids attend local schools, our family’s primary business operates just a few blocks down York, and this neighborhood has been part of our family’s everyday life for generations.
When we set out to create Zero Fox, we weren’t interested in building something that could be picked up and dropped into any neighborhood. Every part of it— from the food and drinks to the atmosphere and the way the space comes together— was inspired by the community we grew up in and the people who make it what it is.
Zero Fox simply wouldn’t exist somewhere else. So much of the inspiration behind it came from knowing exactly where we were building it: our city, our neighborhood, our home.
After a lot of hard work, a lot of late nights, and plenty of help from family and friends, Zero Fox opened its doors in Septermber 2026. We hope we’re created a place that feels familiar from the first visit— a place to grab a morning coffee, meet up for brunch, catch a game, have a drink, and run into people you know.
We built Zero Fox for the neighborhood that raised us. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
History
Operations
Family-owned and operated by three siblings born and raised in Highland Park, just a quarter-mile east of Zero Fox on historic York Blvd.
Ingrid, Xindy, and Robby Jr. grew up right here in Northeast LA, spending their childhood on York Blvd as regulars at neighborhood staples like Troy’s Burgers, Elsa’s Bakery, La Estrella, and many more local businesses that helped shape the culture and identity of Highland Park.
As the neighborhood evolved over the years, the family opened and operated their first business together on York Blvd: Robby’s Rooter, Inc. Located near York & Ave 55, the family-run plumbing company has proudly served Northeast Los Angeles for over 25 years, building long-standing relationships throughout the community.
Zero Fox was created as an extension of those roots — a place built by locals, for locals.
